Quick n Easy Cheezy Sauce

heat about 1 TBSP (aka a big ol glug) of canola in sauce pan ~ 2-3 min

  • 1 chopped shallot
  • 2 garlic

Sauté ~2 min, then add:

  • + 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric

Sauté 1 min, until fragrant and onions are translucent and just beginning to brown.

Meanwhile, combine:

  • 1/2 cup cold veggie broth
  • 1/2 tsp corn starch 

Until the cornstarch is mixed into the broth 100%, then add to the pot with everything else. Lower heat, bring to a simmer.

Once you see a nice lil simmer, kill the heat, but leave the pot on the hot element.

Then add,

  • 1/2 c nooch (nutritional yeast)
  • 1-2 tsp dijon
  • 1 tsp acv (apple cider vinegar, or plain white if you’re basic)
  • pinch paprika

That’s it! Use it on tacos, throw it on a breakfast sammy, dig tortilla chips in it, top up burritos.
