heat about 1 TBSP (aka a big ol glug) of canola in sauce pan ~ 2-3 min
- 1 chopped shallot
- 2 garlic
Sauté ~2 min, then add:
- + 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
Sauté 1 min, until fragrant and onions are translucent and just beginning to brown.
Meanwhile, combine:
- 1/2 cup cold veggie broth
- 1/2 tsp corn starch
Until the cornstarch is mixed into the broth 100%, then add to the pot with everything else. Lower heat, bring to a simmer.
Once you see a nice lil simmer, kill the heat, but leave the pot on the hot element.
Then add,
- 1/2 c nooch (nutritional yeast)
- 1-2 tsp dijon
- 1 tsp acv (apple cider vinegar, or plain white if you’re basic)
- pinch paprika
That’s it! Use it on tacos, throw it on a breakfast sammy, dig tortilla chips in it, top up burritos.
